Description

This Old World legume was introduced by the Spanish. Native Americans and Hispanics eat the beans green and dried. Approx. 30 seeds/packet.

Culture

A cool season plant that should be sown in fall or winter. Plant 1/2" deep and 6" apart. Plants tend to bush, and will produce over a long season.

Seed Saving

A self pollinating annual. The small pods contain 1 or 2 seeds and should be allowed to mature before harvesting.
