Description

Some of these herbs are native, while others were introduced by the Spanish. The flavors are distinct additions to regional dishes, and their healing properties are known to local peoples. They can be grown in containers as well as gardens. Approx. 30 seeds/packet.

Except where noted, plant seed with the summer rains about 1/4 inch deep.

Seed Saving

Herbs are insect pollinated so members of the same species will cross. Harvest dried seed stalks, and hang upside down for complete drying. Crush to remove seeds, and winnow off chaff.
