Pollinator Hedgerow Workshop at NS/S Conservation Farm

Celebrate the onset of spring with Borderlands Habitat Restoration Initiative at the Native Seeds/SEARCH Conservation Farm in Patagonia. We’re kicking off a habitat restoration effort on the farm with native plants chosen to attract pollinators and insectivores. Help us plant the hedgerow starting at 9am (so bring clothes that can get dirty). Register online at We’ll break for a delicious in-season lunch provided by the multi-talented Anita at noon. Be prepared for discussion and socializing at Gary Nabhan and Laurie Monti’s beautiful home during lunch.

From Tucson, take I-10 east for 25 miles and exit at Highway 83, the Sonoita/Patagonia turnoff. In the town of Sonoita, turn west (right) toward Patagonia onto Highway 82. After 12 miles look for the Patagonia sign. Take the next left onto San Antonio Road. The sign above the entrance reads Red Mountain Ranch. Drive across the wash. The large, green barn will be on the right.
