About the Plant:
- 55 days. Red Russian kale has smooth green leaves with purple veins and has a mild, sweet flavor. The very tender leaves can be picked young for salads or at maturity for light cooking. Cold tolerant to -10 degrees. To extend storage life, dunk leaves in cold water after harvesting.
