Comcáac (Seri) Ironwood Mortar & Pestle (Molcajete)

While this set may seem small, there is ample room for grinding chiltepins and other spices. Easily crushes dried peppers. This is a solid wood mortar and pestle set. I am very happy with this purchase.

Gave this along with a jar of chiltepins that I grew last year. It makes a nice little gift.

I love the ironwood mortar and pestle to crush the Mesquite Smoked Chiltepin Chili I also bought. They are now a staple tool in my kitchen. Helps me create some tasty cooking!

It is small but I expected that, will be using for herbs and seeds for cooking.
Crafted beautifully and so useful, nice enough to display on a counter or shelf.
