    • Collected in 1988 from Isleta Pueblo. This New Mexico Long type chile has smooth skin and is fleshier than the Isleta (D015) chile which is better for drying. Isleta Long is great for stuffing and roasting when green. Flavorful, sweet and fruity when red. From our Seed Bank Collection.

    • Origin: high desert around 4900' elevation
    • Mild-medium to medium heat level. 7" long. 
    • Approx. 0.3g/25 seeds per packet.

Great Chili

I am glad to get these seeds. I have grown Isleta Long & am almost out now. In my garden in Macon, Ga it is mild with a rich slightly sweet taste. Great for enchiladas.
