DeAnndra comes from the Tohono O'odham Nation and is currently serving as apprentice under the Agriculture Workforce Development Program with NS/S. She graduated from the UofA with a bachelors of science in Nutrition and Food Systems and enjoys learning about native plant varieties/desert adapted crops and moving towards a sustainable agricultural system.
