Melanie (she/her) brings more than 18 years of accounting experience to NS/S, working the first part of her accounting career in a small public accounting firm in the Hudson Valley of NY. Moving into the nonprofit sector in 2013, Melanie grew into the leadership role as Director of Finance and Human Resources for a private operating foundation. Melanie has a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY New Paltz and earned her CPA license in 2011.
Working in the nonprofit sector has brought Melanie both professional and personal satisfaction as a mission advocate, a strategic analyst, and a partner in leadership.
