This handwoven round basket is by Julian Lewis and measures approximately 6.25 inches in diameter and 4.25 inches high.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca, the green stitching used for the design and basket edge is unbleached Soaptree Yucca. The black design accents are done in Devil's Claw pod, and the red accents are done in rare Yucca root.
