Cool Season Gardening Workshop
CSGWFall is just around the corner in the desert and it’s time to start planning your about cool-season garden. Our mild winter climate is ideal for the successful grow-out of green leafy vegetables, most herbs and various root vegetables.
Learn which vegetable and herb varieties to plant, how to protect your garden from a potential frost, and cool season watering techniques. This workshop is for the beginner desert gardener and the well-versed that may just need a refresher course in cool season planting.
Participants will go home with a variety of cool season-ready seeds to plant in their own gardens.
