Miniature Lidded Basket

This handwoven miniature lidded basket is by Mary Thomas and measures approximately 1.5 inches in diameter and 1.25 inch high.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca. 

Keep away from sunlight to maintain color variations.
