This handwoven oval basket with handles is by Della Cruz and measures approximately 7.75 inches long by 6.6 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca. The green stitching is unbleached Soaptree Yucca, and the black material is Devil's Claw pod.
