Phaseolus vulgaris.  Large beige staple grown-out from a collection from the arid eastern Sierra Madre in Mexico. Seeds have a gold ring around the hilum. Vigorous plants. From our Seed Bank Collection.

• Day length sensitive; may not have time to produce well in northern climates.  Plant with monsoon rains in the low desert.
