Pisum sativum. A smooth green and tan pea from La Puebla, New Mexico. Traditionally cooked like dry beans with pork, or boiled as a porridge. Collected from the farmers at their farmstand in Española. A very productive variety in our 2021 growout in Tucson. From our Seed Bank Collection.


• Origin: High desert, around 5500' elevation.
