This handwoven basket sculpture is by Fred Cruz and measures approximately 8.75 at highest point inches with a 6 inch base.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca, the green stitching used in the design is unbleached Soaptree Yucca. The black material used for the facial details is Devil's Claw pod.
