By Terry DeWald

The Tohono O'Odham are among the least known of Southwestern native peoples. In this book, Terry DeWald, who has worked with their tribal community for over 40 years, provides the reader with some background and insights into one of the oldest traditional desert tribes. Detailed information on Tohono O'Odham history, customs and crafts, particularly basket weaving, is included, along with extensive photographs of the weavers, their basketry designs and the desert plant materials used to create these beautiful works of art.

This is an older book so it uses Papago, but older books do that.

I have always wanted this book. After the context designs are older and or mirror of how work was done. Weavers are not around to see samples of their work.
