This handwoven basket Sculpture is by Della Cruz and measures approximately 6.25 inches at highest point with a 5 inch base.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca, the green stitching is unbleached Soaptree Yucca, and the black material used is Devil's Claw Pod.
