Rarámuri
ZP101Zea mays. (Tarahumara). From the bottom of Copper Canyon in Chihuahua. The flinty, pale yellow kernels are produced on thin, slender cobs reminiscent of "reventador," referring to the popping nature of the corn. Ground and used for pinole or popped. From our Seed Bank Collection.
