    • Vicia faba. From the little town of San Luis in far south-central Colorado, this fava was collected from a local farmer in 1995. Plump pale green and tan seeds, quite productive in our Tucson winter grow-out.   From our Seed Bank Collection.

      • Origin: high desert, about 8500' elevation
      • Plant in fall or late winter in the low desert, or early spring at higher elevations.  Favas are cold tolerant plants.
      • Approx. 16g/15 seeds per packet.
      • Limit 3 packets.
