Local Tucson artist, Wil Taylor, was born and raised in the wilderness of Washington State, and later lived off the grid in the Sonoran Desert. He began his journey with the guidance of his grandfather, who - being a Klickitat native - instilled in him, through song, story and example, the spirit and meaning of nature.
Taylor's paintings depict the natural world, dreams and the human experience. He combines powerful designs and patterns with elegantly rendered subjects. The work evokes a sense of calm, wonder and energetic curiosity about the world.
