Rarámuri (Tarahumara) Baskets

Handwoven by Rarámuri (Tarahumara) artisans from the Sierra Madre Mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico, these traditional baskets reflect generations of craftsmanship.

Rarámuri baskets are made using locally gathered natural materials, including pine needles and sotol, a desert plant traditionally used in basket weaving. Each basket is individually crafted, featuring distinctive shapes, patterns, and weaving techniques.
