Tomatoes

Please do not order more than 3 packets of any one variety, and no more than 40 packets total.

Solanum lycopersicum. Originally domesticated in the Andean region of South America, the modern cultural and nutritional importance of tomatoes worldwide is difficult to exaggerate. Tomatoes should be started from seed indoors at least 8 weeks before the threat of frost has passed. When the threat of freezing temperatures has passed and the soil warms up the tomato plants can be put outside. It's possible in the low desert to overwinter and keep indeterminate varieties producing for a few years. Approx. 0.1g/25-40 seeds per packet.
