Germinates better when cooler

First time with these seeds, and starting a little late in the season. I tried to germinate outside in trays when the temp was > 100 F most days, and they did not germinate. Started over inside the house which was around 76 F and they germinated just fine. Recently moved the plants to large pots outside and will go into dirt in another week or two. So far, so good.

Love these

I bought a couple plants of this variety last spring at an NS/S plant sale, and planted them in a large pot. I had a nice harvest of super-tasty fruit in the spring. Then it stopped bearing through the hottest months, but now in fall it is full of ripening fruit once again.
