Superb flavor

These little beauties were a bit slow to get going this year. We sowed all the seeds at once in '24 spring in a raised bed, intending to thin as they grew. All of them sprouted and grew very well. We thinned them out occasionally and we munched on the delicious stems raw on salads and stir fries. Love these onions.

We planted in Tucson, Oct 18 and weren't sure how many seeds would sprout so we planted a lot - and all of them popped up. It was hard to thin them, but the sprouts were delicious and highly recommend the over seeding so you have some sprouts to enjoy too!
