Phaseolus vulgaris. (Tarahumara Vayo). These beans have a mild, pleasant flavor and smooth texture. Light-tan medium-sized seeds and some occasional light-pink and golden seeds. From our Seed Bank Collection.

• Pole bean
• Day length sensitive; may not have time to produce well in northern climates.  Plant with monsoon rains in the low desert.
