Phaseolus vulgaris.   This elongated beige bean with lilac-colored flowers comes from near Hermosillo, Sonora.  Produces good-tasting green beans.  Traditionally grown with irrigation during the winter in frost-free desert regions.  From our Seed Bank Collection.
