This popular perennial is attractive and has medicinal uses as well.  It grows 2-4’  tall with pinkish-purple blooms in late spring through early fall. Adaptable and tolerant of drought, heat, and poor soil. Prefers full sun, adapts to part shade. Can reseed and spread, and can become aggressive in some conditions.
