Duck with Hat Woven Sculpture

This handwoven basket is by Tohono O'odham artist Della Cruz from Sells, Arizona. Della & Fred Cruz are known for their unique, figurative 3-Dimensional baskets.

• This whimsical Duck with Hat basket measures approximately 5.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide. Measures 8.5 inches long from duck beak to tail.
• Back of basket is left open for storage of treasures and the hat is removeable
• Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert.
• Green coils are native Beargrass and the white, open stitches are of sun bleached Yucca. The black material used for decorative trim is from Devil's Claw pod. Keep away from sunlight to maintain color variations.
