    Good for beginners

This was the first bean I chose to grow here in Phoenix. The plant got buried under a cantaloupe vine and still did very well but wanted more sun. I planted with the monsoon rains in mid-late August and harvested my first test bean mid November when the pod dried out and turned brown. Very plump and creamy beans. I'm a complete beginner and was super excited to grow this really pretty bean! I'll be planting more next year and making sure the vines don't get smothered in shade.

5/5 Stars, will be a staple in my Phoenix AZ garden.

    The Best Tasting Bean!

I grew Ojo de Cabra beans one year with great success here in upstate New York. It is hard to find them, so I was thrilled to be able to get them from Native Seeds SEARCH. They are absolutely delicious, so full of flavor, rich and creamy…..my all time favorite bean for burritos and bean burgers.
