Brassica campestris. Also called 'espinaca' though it is not a spinach but a wild mustard with tender, mild flavored leaves. Use in salads or as cooked greens ... the leaves have a texture much like spinach.  Sauteing helps bring out the very mild mustard flavor.  Plant in fall or late winter in the low desert, or early spring at higher elevations.   From our Seed Bank Collection.
