    • Pisum sativum.  A soup pea from the Sierra Madre in northern Mexico. Grown along the edges of Rarámuri bean and corn fields. Plant in late fall or early spring in warmer climates.  From our Seed Bank Collection.

      • Origin: High desert, about 7220' elevation
      • Plants grow to 5 feet tall and need support
      • Approx. 10g/50 seeds per packet.
      • Limit 3 packets.

    Prolific survivor at 7400 ft

    We are in extreme drought and wildlife ate most things this year but one of these survived. Temperatures were 90s during the day and 40s at night for most of its growth and we got four times more seed than what we planted off of one plant!
