Beit Alpha is generally gynoecious (producing mostly female flowers) which means it starts fruiting earlier and is very productive. So disappointed

Planted in spring, raised bed. Beautiful lush vines covered with blossoms and not one developed fruit. Las Vegas valley heat is worse? So disappointing.

Bought and planted these cucumber seeds into my garden here in St David, AZ, 2 yrs ago. Had very rapid vigorous growth and good harvest from just a few plants. We are at 3500 ft here, zone 9b. I have been a member off and on for 30 years and love Native Seeds!

Beit Alpha Cumcumber, did not do well in containers.

I bought a packet a year ago, I was hopeful that it do well in a large container in the low desert, all died in a week weeks of true second leaf. Still looking for varity that will do well in a container and take some late spring early summer heat.
