Phaseolus acutifolius.  Long, rounded, burnt-orange seeds, some with speckles and some in lighter or darker tones.   This variety was collected in 1979 from farmers at Ali Chukson (Little Tucson), a village between Sells and Kitt Peak on the Tohono O'odham reservation.  Early-maturing and very productive!  From our Seed Bank Collection.

• Origin: low desert, about 1800' elevation.
