    • Capsicum annuum.  A large, thin skinned, sweetish chile.  The large upright plants are slow to set fruit and mature.  Two and a half months from planting to first flowering and another month and a half to ripe fruit.  A mild winter in our recent Tucson growout allowed us to keep harvesting these chiles for 6 months.

Originally collected in 1996 from the valley community of Cumpas, within the Sierra Madre of Sonora, Mexico.   From our Seed-Bank Collection.
