Navajo Cushaw (Tail Squash)

Cucurbita argyrosperma.  Large green and white striped cushaw. Fruit are round with long curved neck (or 'tail'). More elongated than most cushaws in the collection.  Flesh is cream to light orange colored. A good keeper. Originally collected at the Navajo Fair in Shiprock, NM back in 1995, and grown out last year by one of our partner farmers.  From our Seed Bank Collection.
