Phaseolus vulgaris. A rare, disappearing variety. Semi-pole plants produce tiny, burgundy, kidney-shaped seeds with a black ring around the hilum. Occasional solid black and speckled beans. Pods are quite long and make excellent green beans. From our Seed Bank Collection.
