Cicer arietinum. This variety was collected near the city of Dolores Hidalgo in Central Mexico. The pretty, leafy plants are prolific, producing many small beige beans. Tucson Village Farm grew out these seeds to help make them available to the public. From our Seed Bank Collection.
- Origin: High Desert
- Plant in fall through mid-February in the low desert, or in early spring in cooler climates.
- Prefers well drained soil and arid climates. Doesn't like transplanting.
- Approx. 6g/ 25 seeds per packet.
