NS/S Receives Largest Grant to Date from Gila River

| Betsy Armstrong

A $300,000 check was presented to Native Seeds/SEARCH on Saturday, July 23 by the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). The funding comes from the State Shared Revenue Program the Tribe contributes to for services that benefit the general public in Arizona communities. Hugs circulated and everyone celebrated this new collaboration. It was Native Seeds/SEARCH's largest grant to date. The proceeds support grow-outs of our seed collection at the Conservation Farm in Patagonia. Much gratitude to Gila River Indian Community.
