"Frijoles Cucupa." Grown in gardens by the Chupa (River People), or Cocopah, in Sonora, Mexico, just south of the U.S. border town of San Luis. Collected by NS/S in 1992, but the grower/donor said she got her seed originally from Cocopah people in Somerton AZ in the mid 1970's. From our Seed Bank Collection
