    • Helianthus annuus.  Tall plants on strong stalks have many branches with small heads, and a single flower at the top. Contains white/black striped, solid black and gray/black striped seeds. Originally collected in 1978 in Lower Moenkopi.

      • Origin: high desert, about 4900' elevation
      • Plant height 6-7 feet
      • Approx. 2g/25 seeds per packet.

    Hopi branched sunflower early review

    Very good germination rate in our unscientific compost and driptape Pima county garden in March 2025. Vigorous seedlings, including 4 transplanted ones. Remains to be seen the growth and flowering through the heat:)
