Hopi Blue Wikti

Zea mays.  These deep blue kernels were selected out of a harvest of traditional plum-colored Wikti, grown on Hopi land by a Hopi family. Some red and purple tones are also visible. The kernels have a greasy hair sheen like the traditional wikti.  Donated to NS/S for distribution through our Native American Seed Share program.

• Origin: high desert, around 5700' elevation
• Approx. 13g/50 seeds per packet.
