Vicia faba. These favas are stunning rich purple to black in color.  One of just a few varieties from Guatemala in our collection.  Quite productive in our Tucson winter grow-out.   From our Seed Bank Collection.
• Origin: elevation unknown
  
• Plant in fall or late winter in the low desert, or early spring at higher elevations.  Favas are cold tolerant plants.
• Purple seeds borne on approx. 2 foot tall green plants.
• Approx. 19g/15 seeds per packet.
