  • Zea mays. From the Mohave Tribe or Pipa Aha Macav, the "People by the River" who farm near the Colorado River. This fast-growing flour corn is used for boiling and cornmeal. Similar to Tohono O'odham 60-Day, some say it could be even faster to reach milk stage. Plants are shortish, 3 to 5' tall with small ears, 4 to 7". From our Seed Bank Collection.
