Cucumis melo. The fruits in this variable variety have green to yellow skin and shapes ranging from banana to football to round. The flesh color is mostly white. Known as Navajo Cantaloupe but the flavor is more like a honeydew. Collected at a market in Shiprock New Mexico. From our Seed Bank Collection.
