Cucumis melo. Collected at a roadside stand on the southern outskirts of Albuquerque, this is a typical native melon common to the pueblos. Fruits are varied and may be oval to oblong, ribbed and smooth-skinned. Occasional light netting or cracking. Tasty orange flesh. From our Seed Bank Collection.
