      • Capsicum annuum.  Black (negro in Spanish) or rich brown sweet and flavorful chile. Collected from a market selling local produce in Saucillo, Chihuahua in the mid-1980's.  May contain an occasional plant bearing red or differently shaped fruit.  From our Seed Bank Collection.

      • Origin: high desert around 4600' elevation
      • Medium heat.
      • 3-6" long.

    Chile Negro Review

    Well, I loved the quick germination of all the seeds I bought from Native Seeds. I started them inside and are now getting ready to transplant them outside. Each day they go out to enjoy the sun and temperature changes. I hope they will survive the transplanting. The Chile Negro is still only about 4 inches high but looking very happy!
