Capsicum annuum.  One of our few collections from Zia Pueblo, this native chile was collected in the mid 1990's from an elder Zia farmer. Early-maturing, mild heat, and when red becomes sweet. Around 3" long. Our partner farmer says it has a bell-pepper-like flavor, but spicy.  From our Seed Bank Collection.

• Origin: high desert, about 5500' elevation.
