Cucumis melo. Round to teardrop-shaped fruit with smooth skin. Some honeydew types. Flesh varies from white to light green to orange. For this and other thin skinned melons, turn the growing melons once a week to keep them from developing a soft spot where they touch the ground.  From our Seed-Bank Collection.
