    Excellent

Esperanza de Oro grew well in my hot dry inland climate of Southern California latitude 34.43, longitude 119. Zone 9-9b. Elevation 1575 feet. I got sever melons from three vines. There was variation in shape and appearance and also some would slip from vine when ripe but some I had to cut or they would be over ripe. Here’s a photo of the biggest one. They have an amazing aroma and can be left in your house a few days to soften more. Mine were pretty sweet and some were mildly sweet but none were very sweet. cid:ED2CF94E-D3B9-494E-896E-0837DF3C36A2
