First time famer went good so far...

This was my first planting a crop, and not sure if it was well or not. The non-stop heat didn't help, saw some of my corn ears discolor earlier than what I would see in the planting guide. I didn't have any funding to build a proper shade for the corn, but that wouldn't have helped because of the abnormally high winds; some corn stalks broke and blew the corn pollen away. The surviving corn came out smaller and more deformed. This was a horrible first-time planting experience for me, and this did not include livestock problems. Didn't know goats would lean and weaken the fence to a point where they could use their horns to break the metal fence for a big enough hole to crawl through, happily to report the goats were delicious. Theirs always next year.
